This Privacy Policy describes how Avizr.com (“Avizr”) collects and discloses information that we collect from you when you use Avizr’s web and mobile-based application (the “Service”). Information We Collect From You

Your Profile

There are two types of users described below, users who set up accounts (“Owners”), users are invited to register for an account by Owners (“Non-Owners).

Owners. To register for an account, you provide us with your email address, your name, a password, and an optional custom domain name that you can use for the site. In addition, once the free-trial has ended, you provide us with a credit card and associated billing information which we share with our payment processor, Stripe. While your credit card information is not stored on our servers, we do store your subscription information, including the plan that you’ve purchased, the interval of your plan, and the cost of your plan.

Non-Owners. To register for an account, you provide us with your email address, your name, and a password.

Your Email

We may use your email to send you service related emails, including, but not limited to invitations to courses, course reminders, and certificates of completion. If an Owner of Account is not paid-to-date, their name and email will be given to Non-Owners who attempt to access courses.

In addition, we may use your email address to send you products or services as related to third parties, and we may send you marketing materials. You may opt out of these messages by unsubscribing to them on any of the emails which you receive.

Your Content

Owners. Using the Service will include but not be limited to uploading videos, uploading documents, providing links to Google Drvie, Youtube, Vimeo, creating assessments, and surveys, uploading images, uploading files, and creating web pages with our rich text editor (together, the “Content”). Together, the Content is provided to the users of your courses. You choose who has access to this content by inviting users to your course or by providing a public link that anyone can use to sign up for the course.

Avizr will be allowed to view your content to if we need to resolve support issues, believe that there is an abuse of the service, or if it reasonably necessary for Avizr to do so in order to comply with the law.

Information Collected When Visiting the Site

Our site uses cookies as a means to keep you logged in. We also log information about each visit which may include your IP address, referring pages, landing pages, and other related information. By logging this information, we can better troubleshoot issues and help to both maintain and improve the Service. Finally, we determine your time zone automatically upon registering using client-based technologies.


Sharing Information

We may share the information we collect from you with third parties as detailed below.

With Trusted Partners and Service Providers.

We integrate several third party providers to help us to deliver the Service. Users who upload videos will have their videos and associated meta information stored on Vimeo; users who upload documents will have their documents and associated meta information stored on Box. Credit card information is stored with Stripe. Our hosting services are managed by Cloudways, with our data stored in the cloud on Amazon’s servers. Finally, we integrate with MailChimp and Mandrill to facilitate sending emails, and provide them with your full name and email address.

In an Anonymized manner

We may disclose aggregate and anonymous data on our users to trusted partners if we believe that in doing so, there will be an improvement in the Service. In addition, we may disclose aggregate and anonymous data to our affiliate partners who may share in revenue from lead generating partnerships.

In The Event of A Sale

In the case that the ownership of the business changes either in part or in full, we may provide the new owner with your information so the business can continue operating. This Privacy Policy will then remain in effect until the new owner updates the Policy after providing you with a notice of the changes by email.


Information Protection

We take security seriously. All web communications are encrypted using the https protocol. Our hosting partner regularly monitors the system and backups of your data are made daily. In addition we store your data in 3 distinct physical locations.


Updating Your Information

You may update your personal information, including your name, email address, and time zone at anytime. Owners of the account may also update their credit card information.


Links to Other Web Sites

Some courses have Rich Text Editor modules. These modules are essentially web pages built into the course. As these modules may also link to other websites, please note that those websites will have their own Privacy Policies. In visiting those sites, their Privacy Policy will take effect.


Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We will let you know by email should our Privacy Policy change. Once that email is sent out, please refer back to the Privacy Policy as any updates to the policy come into effect immediately. By continuing to use the Service you are agreeing to the updated Policy terms.
